Pablo – [Zack Cokas]

Zack Cokas is one of the best rappers in the state of North Carolina. I’ve been running his project Pablo for the past couple of weeks and see the potential oozing out of this young budding emcee. If your a fan of people like Jack Harlow then this would be right up your listening alley. His single “Meddling Kids” is the track that’s taking off the most of it and Cokas delivers on a Scooby-Doo inspired visual that’s really methodical and dope. The song I keep coming back to the most on this project is “Pablo Freestyle”, the rapping and Zack’s flow on this make my ears perk up and get me excited about the untapped potential he possesses. I believe with some more time and within a couple of more well thought out roll-outs and albums Zack can really make a name for himself in this industry. Meddling Kids-[Zack Cokas]

North Carolina artist, Zack Cokas has lately been making it onto my radar in recurring fashion. For some reason I always see his name pop up, which has to be a good thing. I first caught wind of the up and comer after the release of his song “Bust Down”. The vibey track instantly caught my attention and shifted my focus on the this promising talent. Today, the rapper is making it onto our pages for his brand new offering entitled, “Meddling Kids”. The two minute and fifty-one second track is the perfect platter to eat off of when trying to get a sense for what Zack brings to the table. His mature flow and dynamic lyrical content stand out in the best way. The production makes room for the young rapper to show off his entire repertoire. “Meddling Kids” is a fire track and that’s really all there is to say about it. Zack Cokas is a rapper coming out of Raleigh, North Carolina who dropped a promising project recently entitled ‘Young Cak’. The first stumbled on Zack’s music on an Instagram actually, being the music miner that I am clicked on the video snippet of the song to check it out. Initially, I wasn’t blown away by the snippet but one thing I did notice is that his combination of flow and sound were intriguing to me. This caused me to dig a little deeper in his catalog to check out more songs in his discography. The first time I played “Work 4 It” my ears perched up the instrumental is wild, this is probably my favorite cut from the EP. Some other tracks that stuck with me were “Kill Bill” and “Explosive.” Even though it’s still early in his career I can definitely see a lane for Zack and his sound moving forward as he continues to sharpen his sword.
