Black Haus creates freely; no restrictions or set methodology. The four-person band is busting at the seams with energy, placing attitude at the forefront of each of their releases, in whatever genre they may occupy. Band members, Jeffrey, Taylor, Lyn, and Siid all met while attending the University of North Caroline at Greensboro, gravitating towards another through music. Their mutual love for a variety of genres from punk, pop, R&B, rock, and Hip-Hop made them friends, but their creative pioneer spirit made them a band. With an overall goal to, “tell different stories while keeping the same vibe,” Black Haus Their most recent release, Mss Thang EP, is a sonic embodiment of the band’s spontaneity and exceptional execution in multiple fields while remaining undeniable cohesive. Despite the EP’s 10-minute run-time, Black Haus manages to submerge you in an eclectic sound that leaves you begging for more. Collaborating with producer, engineer, and mixer, Caleb Alexander, Black Haus’ sound is a combination of indie surf rock, punk, R&B, and Hip-Hop, all delivered with a signature feel.
