Son of Serpentine – [Ramirez]

G*59’s very own Ramirez has released his hard-hitting new project, Son of Serpentine, chock-full of cold-blooded bangers. The first thing I have to mention is that the production on here really impressed me. The beats are pretty bass heavy and punchy, and feature some meticulously crafted melodies and sample implementations that really caught my ear.  Perfect examples of this are the Mikey The Magician-produced tracks “2 Step Stevie” and “P.O.P.”, which feature some nice soulful samples that I can’t place, but are an extremely nice touch. The sounds on here are truly refreshing to hear, as every beat is unique and compelling. Ramirez doesn’t slow down at all across the 32 minutes, but he does it in the right way, as the project doesn’t grow stale in the slightest. Ramirez joins forces with ZillaKami right off the bat with the intro track, “Mosh Pit Killa”, one of the hardest songs on the tape. ZillaKami made waves last year as part of New York outfit City Morgue, who dropped a pretty impressive debut tape late last year. Ramirez exhibits his strengths as a rapper, tearing it up track-after-track, impressing listeners with a variety of intoxicating flows on top of some really …

Please Forgive – [Powers Pleasant] ft. [Denzel Curry] [IDK] [Zillakami] [Zombie Juice]

One of the founding members of Pro Era, Powers Pleasant, is here on Lyrical Lemonade today to share a new visual for his song, “Forgive Please”. With guest features from Denzel Curry, IDK, Zillakami and Zombie Juice, this video is stacked with energetic MC’s trading equally electric verses. The new video keeps pace with the song’s high-energy production, and the exhilarating cadences of each rapper add varied effects of entertainment to their dense verses. Also notable, Power Pleasant’s newest comes off the heels of his last video for the song, “Pull Up”. We are already anxious for what else the Pro Era renaissance man has in store for us and who else he’ll be recruiting for the hitmaking process in the future. In the meantime, join us in watching the new video for “Please Forgive” at the link provided below and tell us who you think had the best verse in the comment section!

Vengeance – [Denzel Curry] Ft. [Jpegmafia] & [ZillaKami]

Denzel Curry’s Ta13oo album was met with critical acclaim back in July with some saying it holds the potential for one of the best projects of the year. Whether or not that’s the case, his visuals have been second-to-none (check out the insane video for Clout Cobain) and now, the likes of Jpegmafia and Zillakami rejoin Denzel in the horrific depiction of their collab, Vengeance. Directed by Zev Deans, the new cinematic starts out with a dead Curry on the street before he is resurrected and searches out for revenge on someone. After a literal game of ‘Operation’ on the unfortunate victim, we then see Jpeg and Zilla join Curry outside of a Foot Rub store before riding into the night in a car which ultimately ends the cut. Chances are you’re a little confused after that explanation but you’d best see for yourself; click on the new Vengeance visuals below! Directed by Zev Deans
