Sick- [BbyMutha]

BbyMutha may have dropped “Sick” as part of The Bastard Tape, Vol. 1 back in 2018, but with the release of her dope new video for the standout, and with his comments still echoing the halls of the internet, I’m ceremoniously dedicating the new video to Jermaine Dupri. Displaying an effortless swagger and unflappable confidence, BbyMutha flexes atop a leaning, southern-dusted beat without ever lifting a finger. Her nonchalant, gliding flow only adding to the aura of superiority; making her haters “Sick” ain’t nothing. For the visuals, The Lousiana collective HUEMIDHAUS brings a little bit of New Orleans flair to the Chatanooga-native’s aesthetic, loading the video with some supernatural, gritty elements that give credence to BbyMutha calling herself, “the antichrist of female rap.”

Charlie’$ Angel – [Jazmyn Alexis]

One artist out of Chicago who has been making some noise this year is the mega talented Jazmyn Alexis, who is back on our site this evening with her brand new record titled Charlie’$ Angel”. Jazmyn Alexis offers more of an R&B and Pop type of sound that has the ability to catch anyones ear, her melodies and vocals are superior to a majority of the artists in her lane, and I see nothing but big things for her in the future. Not only does Jazmyn create ear pleasing music and provide well put together visuals, but she also has the overall charisma & image of a future star, I am excited to see just how far she goes. Watch this brand new music video below and if you like Jazmyn’s style then don’t forget to give her a follow here!

Orpheus vs. the Sirens – [Hermit and the Recluse]

New York emcee Hermit and the Recluse is making his Lyrical Lemonade debut tonight with his brand new project titled “Orpheus vs. the Sirens”. I just recently got put onto his music when I got recommended to listen to this album, and after running through the ten records I had the urge to share with our audience. Hermit and the Recluse has a superior skill to twist lyrics and rhymes into an ear pleasing manor, also I really enjoyed his use of skits to help give some extra thought to this tape. Listen to this brand new project below and if you like it be sure to give him a follow on Spotify!

Flex – [Superior]

At this point, Boston’s own, Superior, is becoming a frequent here on the Lyrical Lemonade pages, and today, he’s ready to add to this streak with his new video titled “Flex”. Right off of the bat, this track lands directly in the sweet spot both lyrically and sonically for this rising talent, as it takes to deeply-cut bass hits and a flowering melody to slice through unforgiving lyricism and Superior’s signature, hard-knock charisma. Once matched with Puma-directed visuals, the song is taken to the next level, leaning on a plethora of ominous coloring and compelling scenes of the artist to lead the way. All in all, the newest from this Boston native is yet another noteworthy release to keep his hot streak going, and if you weren’t already hip, “Flex” should show you that Superior is ready to make waves in his city and beyond. With that being said, be sure to check out his latest offering at the link below and let us know what you think in the comment section.

Whiplash – [Superior]

Charismatic emcee Superior has become somewhat of a frequent flyer here at Lyrical Lemonade. Today, he strives to maintain the win streak he’s on and hits our pages yet again with the release of a dope new single titled, “Whiplash”. But fair warning, this is the kind of track that you won’t be able to keep off of repeat after your first listen. Between triumphant flows and stellar production from Nick E Beats, the newest from the Boston native carves out its own lane with an eccentric melody and well-placed drum hits, even deemed to be “victory music” in one of the verses. Aside from this, when matched up perfectly with Superior’s emphatic delivery and signature, gritty vocals, “Whiplash” is able to enhance the memorable lyrics and give each and every listener an abundance of reasons to run it back. As you can probably tell, this is one of, if not my favorite track from Superior that I have heard as of yet. But don’t take my word for it, listen to “Whiplash” at the link below and let us know how you’re feeling about it in the comments.

No Discussion- [Superior] ft. Brandon James

There must be something in the water in Boston right now, because it seems like every day at this point that we’re writing about a dope new release coming from the Bean. Following this imprint, Lyrical Lemonade welcomes Boston native Superior to our pages yet again, and marked by assertive lyricism and his signature, overpowering cadences, it sounds like he’s ready to take his talents far beyond his hometown. Today, Superior proves himself once again with new ELEVATOR-premiered visuals for his hard-hitting single, “No Discussion” featuring fellow Bostonian Brandon James. Set to the sound of a confrontational atmosphere courtesy of chilling production, this video takes full advantage of the aggressive energy and translates it onto the screen with simple yet illustrative scenes of Superior and his team bumping to the song. Be sure to get hip to the latest rising star coming out of the 617 by watching “No Discussion” below.

I’m The Man – [Superior]

Just as his name reads, Boston artist Superior has become well-known for his braggadocious and often times brutally honest lyricism. His style finds a perfect balance between charismatic and confrontational, and with an array of inimitable flows to lead hard-hitting tracks like the ELEVATOR-premiered “I’m The Man”, the stocks are rising for this promising talent and he has without a doubt risen to the challenge. Superior’s latest visuals explore these very traits, looking to dark, ominous imagery to illustrate the matching lyrical showcase that it complements with a keen eye. Overall, releases of this caliber will continue to fuel Superior’s ascent to the top and, as we have seen in the past, he won’t be short to bless fans with a barrage of new heat soon. Watch “I’m The Man” below and keep an eye out for more from Superior on the way.

Put It On Silent – [PARTYNEXTDOOR] ft. [Ty Dolla $ign]

From two of the industry’s hardest working artists comes “Put It On Silent,” a bouncy a R&B track highlighting the smoothness of musical texture that has made PARTYNEXTDOOR and Ty Dolla $ign hip-hop superstars. This collaboration complements the respective strengths of each artist: Party’s superior skill in navigating melody and Dolla $ign’s syrupy vocal range. With PARTYNEXTDOOR continually writing a collection of popular music’s most popular songs and Ty Dolla $ign putting out new material and features at such a rapid pace, these two modern R&B vanguards are only strengthening their hold on the industry.
