Watch Kenny Beats Speak w/ Power 106 about His Collaborative Work

Easily one of the hardest working producers in the game right now, Kenny Beats linked up with Power 106 to talk about the creation of some of the biggest songs of 2018. The Connecticut native breaks down what he needs in the studio and shares stories of the creation of records like Rico Nasty’s “Countin Up” and Ski Mask the Slump God’s “Foot Fungus.” Hearing the creation behind some of the biggest tracks of last year puts into perspective the creative process from a producer’s standpoint and how certain record’s are happy accidents. There is no doubt that Kenny Beats is going to slow down by any means and is only just getting started. Watch the new interview with Kenny Beats below and tell us your favorite story in the comment section!

2y’s – [Tayy Brown]

Tayy Brown is a new artist to the Lyrical Lemonade pages, but we suspect he won’t be a new name soon, as the young hitmaker is sure to impress with his first appearance on our site. That said, we’re here today to shed a light on the Maryland native’s debut project, 2y’s. With influence from Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, and XXXTentacion, this tape packs a slick, addictive that easily sits right with fans of any kind. Having toured with Ski Mask The Slump God on his Ski Meets The World tour, Tayy is ready to spread his wings on the digital front now, and this tape is certainly a good introduction to his sound. Hear it below, and be on the lookout for more from the up-and-comer soon.

LA LA – [Ski Mask The Slump God]

Fresh off of the release of his highly-anticipated new album, Stokeley, Ski Mask The Slump God is wasting no time in garnering every win possible, as he’s here today with a new set of visuals for the hard-nosed track, “LA LA”. Directed by Cole Bennett — a one-two punch known to do damage whenever they join forces — this video follows the high bar of quality that Cole and Ski have set for their collaborations, as insane imagery complements the budding star’s overtly aggressive cadences. The song is a heater and the visuals makes sure to work this, offering up an inarguable reason as to why you should be paying attention to the release of Stokeley in the first place. Ski Mask is ready to take over, so check out “LA LA” below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Stain – [Craig Xen] x [Ski Mask] x [Smokepurpp]

Today I am happy to bring our readers the premiere of Craig Xen’s brand new offering titled “Stain” featuring Lyrical Lemonade favorites Smokepurpp and Ski Mask The Slump God. I swear that as soon as I pressed play and heard this absolutely massive instrumental creeping up I knew something crazy was about to happen, and that’s exactly what happened when these three blessed the beat (that was provided by Stain). The vibe & melody that they created on this one is extremely contagious to say the least, if you’re anything like me be prepared to have this one on repeat for an hour. Stream this brand new record below and if you like it be sure to keep up with Craig Xen by giving him a follow on Twitter here!

Flex Music 2 – [K$upreme]

Atlanta’s K$upreme returns with an impressive release, Flex Music 2. A staple in the SoundCloud rap scene for some time now, K$upreme continues to pursue a lasting legacy in the music industry. Riddled with fire, the tape includes notable features including longtime collaborator Lil Yachty, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Ski Mask The Slump God, Playboi Carti, Young Scooter, and Jim Jones.  The production is on point throughout the tape, boasting production from K$upreme himself, alongside an array of other great producers. Bump your way through the 17 track effort below:

Ankle – [Ski Mask] x [Warhol]

While scrolling through Soundcloud I came across a brand new record that hit the internet titled “Ankle” by Lyrical Lemonade favorites Ski Mask The Slump God & Warhol! The first thing that caught my attention on this one was the playful & impressive instrumental that was provided by A Lau and Tony Seltzer, before Ski Mask came through with an extremely catchy hook as well as a solid verse. The contribution on this offering from Warhol was the icing on the cake per say, as he spit a verse so good that it made me replay it multiple times. Take a few minutes of your time to stream this new track below and let me know what you think about it in the comments section.

Following a string of segments with Gunplay, Adam22 and the duo of Juice WRLD & Ski Mask The Slump God, the good people at Montreality are back at it with another pair on the hot-seat in Lil Xan and Diablo. Kicking things off with the old Yu-Gi-Oh days and fake playing cards, the duo chopped it up on subjects such as the ‘matrix,’ celebrity crushes, their memories of XXXTentacion and their purpose here on earth. Believe it or not, as in-depth as the questions are both Diego and Diablo took to each question with hilarious insight including stories, flashbacks and a number of jokes throughout. Watch Montreality’s interview with Adam22

Following the can’t-miss segment with Ski Mask The Slump God & Juice WRLD, Montreality is back in their bag today with the next gem of an interview featuring the interviewer himself, Adam22. First getting into some of the cartoons Adam was watching as an adolescent, the two parties carried out the rest of the discussion on video games, Lil Peep & XXX, psychedelics, book recommendations, the most romantic feat with Lena The Plug and much more within the 20-minute conversation. Having basically sat-down with just about every significant artist coming up, it was definitely cool to see Montreality turn the tables and have the No Jumper bossman take us into his life for a moment.
