Whatever You Decide – [QVRS]

Today I am happy to welcome back QVRS to our pages here at LL with the release of his new project, Whatever You Decide. If by chance you aren’t familiar with Q, here’s a little background on the chicago artist. “QVRS, born as Quverius Clayton, is an emerging artist hailing from Chicago’s West end. He has been the trending topic from his talents both as a producer, and a songwriter. Q was musically inspired at a very young age, writing his first song for his cousin. He grew up submerged in music which lead to him discovering his passion. He started out writing raps and always needed beats for them, therefore he began to make them himself. From all of the investments he’s made into his music, he has gained attention from magazine companies, local Chicago podcasts and even the Chicago Tribune. With mentors like Grammy award winning artist like “Rhymefest” and “No I.D” , his skills as a musician refined as time went.” Enough about him though, lets get to the really good stuff, his music. Earlier this year, QVRS dropped a well-received ep, Parties In The Afterlife which you can listen to here. I believe that QVRS draws on inspirations from …

Parties In The Afterlife – [QVRS]

Chicago native QVRS makes his Lyrical Lemonade debut today with his EP, Parties In The Afterlife. This project tells us a few things about QVRS, but I think the biggest thing to take away from this project is how talented QVRS is. He’s able to work autotune effortlessly, he can switch up between trap, drill, and a few other types of flows, and he can body a number of different types of beats. The project is also produced entirely by QVRS so that’s just another talent of his we can make note of. With 6 tracks total, there isn’t a single song I didn’t like on Parties In The Afterlife. Trust me when I say do not sleep on this guy. He clearly has what it takes to make some serious noise in Chicago’s music scene, so do yourself a favor and introduce yourself to QVRS below.   Be sure to follow QVRS too! Twitter & Instagram
