Met Anthem Freestyle – [Pyrex Pryce]

It seems to me that the Carolina’s have been producing a massive amount of musical talent over the past few years, and one artist that we have been keeping a close eye on is South Carolina native Pyrex Pryce who is back on our website this afternoon with his brand new freestyle track titled “Met Anthem”. Pyrex Pryce is truly ahead of his time when you sit down and examine his rapping abilities, especially on this new joint, he didn’t waste a single second of the beat as he came out firing & didn’t slow down for the entire nearly two & a half minutes. For as much talent as Pyrex Pryce already has, the crazy thought is that he is only going to continue to improve because he’s still so young, within a few years I predict that he will become one of the new leaders of his generation of artists. This new record is a 10/10 in my book and it has me extremely eager to hear some new material from Pyrex Pryce in the future, but for the time being stream this new banger below & don’t forget to give him a follow on Soundcloud here! Messi (Music Video) – [Pyrex Pryce]

A few weeks back, we covered an impressive single from one of South Carolina’s most exciting rising artists Pyrex Pryce. His single “Messi” has been making waves since it dropped, his melodic talents on full display showing what the young artist is capable of. Pyrex Pryce finally released a music video for the single, the cinematic visuals feature Pryce across the country in the Hollywood Hills living lavish with his shorty before kindly sending her on her way. This is Pyrex Pryce’s first video, a strong debut for an artist who is quickly catching heat. Don’t be surprised if you start seeing this song pop up more places, it won’t take long for Pyrex Pryce to get his music to the masses. Watch the video for “Messi” below!

MESSI – [Pyrex Pryce]

Today we have a strong Lyrical Lemonade introduction for an artist who goes by Pyrex Pryce out of South Carolina. He recently released a string-heavy street ballad titled “MESSI”, a triumphant single meant to let his listeners know he is set for stardom. With a massive outpouring of talent from the Carolina’s in 2019, it would be no surprise if this talented young lyricist was the next artist to blow up out of the buzzing region. “MESSI” features a laidback string pattern that is offset by kicking hi-hats and booming 808s, setting the perfect stage for Pyrex Pryce to weave his smooth, melodic vocals around the beat as if the two were trying to catch up to each other. Its a sound that has become popularized as of late, but being that Pyrex Pryce is only 14 years old its clear his skills far outmatch his age. Pryce may be young but his wordplay and ability to build a strong melody already stand out amongst the rest. Check out “MESSI” on all platforms here!

Young Thug Solidifies His Superstar Status on ‘So Much Fun’

By Lee Mcintosh It has been nearly six years since Young Thug emerged into the spectrum of the masses, and not too many artists can say that they have had a career quite like his. Coming onto the scene sounding much different than everyone else, Thug received a lot of criticism for his style of rap, his actions, and his overall persona. As the years passed, his notoriety in the rap game is like no other–proving he was way ahead of his time. After teasing fans with his official debut album Hy!£UN35 (Hi Tunes), it eventually became nothing but a myth. Will we still get it?–the world may never know. However, here we are in the year 2019 and Thugger has finally blessed his fans with the release of his debut album So Much Fun. This project could not have come at a better time in his career. He has achieved a new level or stardom–much bigger than he would have had if he originally released a debut album in 2016. The success of his YSL compilation album Slime Language and birthing the talents of Gunna, Lil Keed and Lil Duke, proves his talents as not only an executive, but a tastemaker. Nonetheless, the fans …

Behind the Music: Highlighting the Producers of Today’s Sound

By: Lee Mcintosh When it comes to creating great music, the artists are the ones who receive most of the recognition for the creation of the song. Their name is what’s attached to the song, their flows, their likeness, and even the features that the artist may have. However, the song making process all begins with one entity… the producer/s. No matter how creative the lyrics may be, how great the artist’s cadence sounds, the beat behind it all is a huge factor behind the overall appeal of the song, and that is what moves people and captures their attention as soon as they hit play. We are in a different era of music now. Technology has advanced to a point where producers and artists don’t have to be in the studio together anymore. This can be a gift and a curse at the same time. Often so, producers may send over a beat pack to an artist and then they select the songs they want and don’t want. From there, the studio session may be recorded or put on Instagram live, and the producer may be nowhere in sight. This may create confusion as to who actually made the …

Bad Boys 3 – [Reese LAFLARE] ft. [Blaze Servin] [Ken Carson]

Reese LAFLARE is a gem. He’s an effortless trendsetter, a certified hitmaker, and someone whose coolness never fades. Today, we see this in the context of LAFLARE’s latest single, “Bad Boys 3,” alongside Blaze Servin and Ken Carson. Backed by a simplistic, haymaker-inducing instrumental from Pyrex and Chasethemoney, this hard-nosed offering keeps things simple while maximizing the force with which each artist delivers their lines. One beat after another, it’s wildly entertaining and easy to throw on repeat, making “Bad Boys 3” an unskippable slap that I’m sure I’ll be listening to well into the summer. In addition to the excitement of this new song, LAFLARE also included in the description that he has a new album on the way this summer, so don’t sleep.
