Pristine – [TyFontaine]

I know what you’re thinking, here goes Danny with another TyFontaine article… When’s he going to stop? The answer is never, or at least not until he stops making music which appears to be the same answer, so just strap in and get ready for another hit. Although the slight hiatus was only a short period of time, Ty is back with an incredible new single entitled “Pristine” and the title does an incredible job of explaining just how awesome the song is. Produced by hitmakers Cxdy and ThankYouWIll, we’re introduced right off the bat to some lighthearted piano keys and unique synths before simplistic yet rhythmic percussive elements enter the scene and provide an unbelievable basis for Ty to reintroduce himself to the world. In the hook, Ty constantly begins his sentences before interrupting himself with a scoff as if to say he doesn’t have to explain his drip, people already know what he’s rocking. Eventually, though, he finishes each phrase with such personality and enthusiasm, it’s impossible not to admire the rapidly rising star’s charisma. The instrumental simplifies slightly in the verse, giving Ty a virtually blank slate to switch up his deliveries and flows which he takes …

We Ain’t the Same – [TyFontaine]

When TyFontaine announced the arrival of his album We Ain’t the Same a few weeks ago, I was absolutely sleepless for many nights anticipating the greatness that he was going to deliver. I knew it was going to be a magnificent effort, but every single time I know he’s dropping, I have no idea what kind of sounds or styles to expect because of how versatile he is, so I get beyond excited to hear what he has in store for fans. I also knew that I was going to need to take the weekend to listen to it in order to run through it multiple times and not miss out on any of its artistry, so that leads us to now. As far as writing about the brand-new album, I could truly go on for days and probably write an entire novel, so I just want to cover some of my personal favorites and highlights, but I’ll let you tune in for the rest of the offerings as well to see its incredibility for yourself. It opens up on the highest notes, unsurprisingly, with “Activities”, which boasts some intense, powerful, electronic-sounding synths that are only elevated by piercing percussion …

Delectable – [TyFontaine]

It’s no secret that I’m a massive fan of Internet Money, and I have been even longer before their unbelievable album dropped. I can press play on any song by Iann Dior, Poorstacy, Lil Spirit, Turbo, or anyone else on their roster and be transported to an entirely new universe in the blink of an eye. Just a week ago, Internet Money’s very own Tyfontaine dropped off his brand-new single “Cuff Jeans”, and I haven’t gone a day without listening to it probably ten or more times. Its hook is absolutely incredible, his verse is as impressive as it is diverse, and his abundance of talents are sprinkled all over the short offering. Fast forward seven days, and it turns out that the fun is only beginning. As he has been preparing fans for the release of his second project of the year entitled We Ain’t the Same, he finally announced the mixtape’s official release date, which is next Friday, as well as the tape’s tracklist which includes features from 24kGoldn, Coi Leray, TheHxliday, and of course Lil Keed on their previously released single “Duse N Juice”. With a list of 16 songs, there’s no telling what we can expect, …

Cuff Jeans – [TyFontaine]

If you’re even remotely unfamiliar with Internet Money at this point, you can consider yourself living under a rock. They’ve taken the music industry by storm which is ironic considering their debut album’s name (B4 The Storm) alludes to the fact that the storm hasn’t even come yet, so I can’t even fathom what’s going to be in our laps moving forward, but just know I’m more excited for the future of IM than any other music I can imagine. TyFontaine is the collective’s frontman, and there doesn’t seem to be a single thing he can’t do. He brings the energy and charisma to certain offerings before slowing up and crooning in some of the most interestingly melodic fashions in the entire scene, and I haven’t heard him attempt a style that wasn’t successful. Basically, I don’t think there’s anything Ty can’t do, and that’s not an over-exaggeration in the slightest. His project 1800 is at the very top of my list of favorite mixtapes that have dropped this year, and I’m not lying when I say I run through it at least once a day if not more. He just shows off the sheer dexterity he brings within his …

B4 The Storm – [Internet Money]

Internet Money is basically the music powerhouse that the average fan has no idea about. They’re cranking out hit after hit with not only big-name artists, but also with their in-house talents who are going to be superstars in their own right in no time at all. As they began to hype up their debut album B4 The Storm, I was getting so impatient because I knew that the rest of the world was in for something incredible, but I had to hear it with my own two ears to make sure my expectations could be justified. It obviously came out at midnight going into Friday so it’s been out for a few days, but I really wanted to take some time to run through it multiple times and truly take in all of the artistry and effort that went into this incredible album, and man, was I not let down in the slightest. On B4 The Storm, the masterminds behind Internet Money, including Taz Taylor and Nick Mira, were able to meld features from massive names like Future, Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Gates, Gunna, and more, with some incredibly talented and promising young artists like TyFontaine, TheHxliday, The Kid Laroi, …

Candy Paint-[TyFontaine]

Back in April, I wrote an article about rising artist, TyFontaine. His most recent project, “1800” was filled with some unforgettable tunes that set a strong foundation for him to build off of with future releases. Today, Ty is making it back into our pages for a brand new track called, “Candy Paint”. The energetic track is just as flashy as the title itself, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from Fontaine as he is slowly making a name for himself as one of the most intriguing artists in the industry right now. The energy he exudes on “Candy Paint” is second to none. From his vocals all the way down to the production by Nick Mira, this brand new offering is one that you have to check out! I’ve attached the SoundCloud link down below, so give it a listen and let us know what you think!

Public Target – [ericdoa]

Today I have the pleasure of introducing the Lyrical Lemonade audience to one of my favorite rising artists out of the underground ericdoa. He is apart of this group of up and coming rappers still sticking to SoundCloud to grow their rapidly expanding fan bases. Ericdoa is one of very few artists who have been welcomed into the Neila World collective and last week he dropped his strongest project to date Public Target. The Charlotte-based production crew has been gaining more and more attention as the roster of artists they have been are usually some of the most unique young artists in the underground scene today. As the first few tracks get going it is evident that ericdoa brings a lot of passion in his voice, with that you feel an emotional connection to the content of his lyrics quite quickly. A track like “Mirage” is a perfect example of his display of emotion, a modern ballad that deals with stresses an artist faces when questioning if they’ll make it or not. What really stands out for me is how well the production on each song blends perfectly with ericdoa’s voice, further proving the kind of talent Neila World has …

virtual boy – [TyFontaine]

If there was an artist I had to place money on as being the first to blow in 2020, there’s no question I would bet it all on DMV’s TyFontaine. The kid is no joke, his versatile delivery and natural singing voice make him a force to be reckoned with. If that wasn’t enough, the team at Internet Money has taken him under their wing to amplify the growth which has been impressive this year, to say the least. Ty has been teasing multiple hits on his Instagram but the first project executive produced by Taz Taylor and Nick Mira titled virtual boy is finally upon us. At only 5 songs, the project still packs a major punch with Ty morphing his delivery and cadence to elevate all of the production. Tracks like “virtual world” and “crazy crazy” are both perfect examples of Ty’s powerful voice and wild singing abilities. The 10k.Caash assisted “txt” is a song ready to be seen on TikToks and Trillers everywhere. Ty is an artist capable of it all and this project is only a small appetizer for what is to come in 2020. With the help of the most powerful production house in music, you …
