Who is Las Guapo?

Consistency speaks for itself in the music industry. Promising artist Las Guapo began his musical career with a single purpose in mind: to make songs with a lot of creativity and to create his sense of style. Ever since beginning his musical journey five years ago, social media has had a significant impact on his career. Watching Lil Pump’s career take off on Instagram infused a sense of self-assurance in the rising artist. This year, Las Guapo is ready to show the world what he’s been working on. Earlier this year, the Florida native released his latest single ‘Las Guapo – Richest From My City’. Shot by @Benny Flash, Guapo recites his lyrics in his hometown while flashing jewelry and cruising through the night. You can tell the rising artist has put a lot of time into improving his flow and making sure his bars are on point. “I basically simply walk into the booth and talk about what’s on my mind or what I’m going through at the moment,” He shared with Hiphopsince1987. Nothing is written down, everything comes from my thoughts!” 6 days ago, Las Guapo released another track titled “Bonnie & Clyde”. Check out both of his videos …

Perkys – [Guapo] x [D Flowers]

Texas is quickly shifting into the conversation as a powerhouse of budding talent right now, and based out of Dallas/Forth Worth, HalfPintFilmz has become just the place to go to discover it. Seemingly every week, a must-watch talent arises from the YouTube page’s breadth of new releases, just as we see with Guapo and D Flowers’ tone-setting new music video, “Perkys.” Supplied with a simplistic, almost devious piano-based instrumental, “Perkys” keeps things simple and lets the two Texas voices do the talking. Building off of one another’s energy, they leave it all on the court with this one; Guapo with the electric opening verse, and D Flowers as the closer, letting his dynamic vocal styles and quotable lyricism (“let the pack do gymnastics“) bring the track home. With cameos from several Texas artists, Maxo Kream included, it’s clear that the state is ready for Guapo and D Flowers to take over. Released on the first day of the year, “Perkys” is sure to be the catalyst for a strong 2020, so keep an eye out. Texas has something to say. Directed by Cash Jundi

2 Shoes – [Jayaire Woods]

Jayaire Woods has been doing it the right way. As the summer came to a close, Jayaire started releasing music and never looked back. He recently joined the likes of Migos, Jose Guapo and OG Maco – by signing to Atlanta-based record label, Quality Control (often stylized as QC the Label). His debut tape, Trees42morrow, has been getting alot of attention and his fanbase seems to be ever growing. The VZN produced track, , is the perfect track to listen to if you’ve never heard Jayaire’s music before. He spits over a mellow beat about growing up in his hood, Woodside, and going through ups and downs with his people. He is one of the easiest artists to relate to on Chicago’s rap scene. His  song flows and his unique voice makes nearly any song catchy, yet his lyrics offer a feel that’ll keep him in your soundcloud likes. The visual, shot by DJ, is perfect for the song as well. Jayaire is surrounded by the people he grew up with in his neighborhood basketball court, having fun and such. Then, there are shots of him walking around his hood. I believe that this is representative of his path to making his …
