Facetime Calls – [Kuttem Reese]
I feel like I’m beating a dead horse at this point, but I seriously can’t go a week it seems without writing about another artist from Florida, and that’s something that I seriously can’t wait to do. This region is simply full of some of the most talented emcees in the entire game, and it seems like they’re in their own little world down there. Whether they’re artists like Kodak Black, Hotboii, or 9lokknine, or other talents like Pouya, Denzel Curry, $NOT, or Ski Mask the Slump God, they all have one thing in common, and that’s the fact that their work ethic is unmatched. Some of these artists may have a similar accent or drawl within their music, but that is basically the extent of their similarities because even if they make a comparable style of music, they always incorporate so much personality and individuality into their songs that comparisons can’t be thrown around easily whatsoever.
