Us vs. Them – [Quavo] & [Takeoff] ft. [Gucci Mane]

It has now been a few months since initial rumors got out about Migos’ breakup, and even though they are one of the biggest super groups in the history of rap music, the official news has still been kept under wraps somehow. I mean, all three artists have still dropped music, with Offset doing his own thing while Quavo and Takeoff have consistently dropped records together, but there is no official word on what is actually going on. Part of me hopes that this is just a PR stunt to gain attention before some massive announcement for the group as a unit but considering they haven’t spoken on it and my speculation seems unlikely, I feel like it’s just wishful thinking that’s ultimately going to let me down. All three emcees still have their membership in the collective in some of their social media bios from what I last saw, but I don’t know if this really tells us anything significant. Nonetheless, I have loved every song that Quavo and Takeoff have released with one another, and their latest song “Us vs. Them” featuring Gucci Mane is definitely no exception. All Dz Chainz – [Gucci Mane] ft. [Lil Baby]

Whether you’re from Atlanta or just love the music scene in the southern city, it’s a place that needs no introduction in the world of music, and it has long solidified its place at the top of the hierarchy of the rap industry. I mean, I could most likely literally count to 100 ATL-born artists quicker than I can count to 100 in general, and with such a booming landscape, there are more and more emcees coming out of the woodwork every single day. Gucci Mane has been a staple in the Georgia capital for literally decades, and even with a change of pace and style as he got older and gained more notoriety, he seems to be putting out more instant classics than ever. Lil Baby might be newer to the business when compared to the OG, but he has already made more than enough noise to have his food and eat it too, so there isn’t anything that either of these rappers could drop that wouldn’t have the world going absolutely insane. Throw beat smith Wheezy into the mix with a little help from fellow producer Juke Wong, and you get “All Dz Chainz”, an all-out banger that …

Hotel Lobby – [Quavo] & [Takeoff]

Making music as a group has to pose a challenge for certain artists because I’m sure at a certain point everyone wants to do what is going to be beneficial for themselves even if it isn’t necessarily what’s going to be best for the rest of the crew. Migos never seemed to have this challenge considering they’re family and they’ve been together for over a decade, but recently, it seems like they may be going in different directions. I mean, they obviously have all gone on to do their own individual things in the form of albums and whatnot, but they always came back together regardless. Recently, though, it seems like there are rumors floating around that Offset unfollowed the other two members, sparking rumors that the trio may have split up which ultimately prompted Quavo and Takeoff to create their own alter egos in Unc and Phew, and that is now officially a thing with the release of their brand-new single “Hotel Lobby” as well as the co-directed video from Qua and Keemotion. The Murda Beatz, Keanu Beats, and Fabio Aguilar-produced record hits harder than ever, thanks to some thumping 808s, an intriguing melody, and piercing percussive elements. In …

Lakeyah Debuts First Single of The Year ‘I Look Good’

Rising QC artist Lakeyah has been shaking the music scene ever since her remix to JT’s “First Day Out” Challenge. Best known for her hard-hitting rap and commanding flow, Lakeyah has proven she earned her spot in the music game. Last week, Lakeyah debuted her latest single “I Look Good”. This track is unlike anything else we have already seen from the Milwaukee rapper. Over a thumping bass line pulsating through heavy 808s, Lakeyah switched it up on her fans, with her latest single. “Pretty, petite Aaliyah. Big as* shades on, feelin’ like Sia. Pass me the hookah, no sangria. Shop in Chanel like it’s IKEA (Hey). I get a bag (Uh), re-up. If it’s a problem (B*tch), T-up. New paper tag, girl, speed up. These n*ggas drama, Madea.” Directed by Keemotion, Lakeyah instructs a workout in an iced-out QC chain, and a complete pink outfit. Her confidence, style, and flow took this music video up another notch. It’s incredible to witness the amount of growth Lakeyah has accomplished in a short amount of time.  This year, we hope to hear a lot more music from Lakeyah that shows off her versatility as an artist. Don’t forget to stream ‘“I …

Lamb Talk – [Quavo]

Chances are you’ve never seen this many Lambo’s in one place until you’ve taken in Quavo’s newest cut for, Lamb Talk. Included in the trio of singles from the Migos frontman last week, the sportscar-inspired track was brought to the big screen with Keemotions & Quavo behind the lens of arguably the most expensive video to date, but mostly due to the choice of cars. With cameos from QC mates Offset & Lil Baby as well, the entire visual revolves around the Italian sports car with Quavo unleashing his firesome verses while cruising the streets in just about every color of Lamb you could possibly imagine. It’s only a matter of time until the next cut for one of Quavo’s new tracks so until then, let the visual for Lamb Talk get you in your feelings of expensive whips you can’t afford. Call Casting – [Migos]

It’s safe to say that Atlanta’s trap-trio Migos had arguably one of the hottest songs in “Bad And Boujee” last year. While we anxiously wait for the sophomore album “CULTURE” to be released, Migos made sure to start 2017 out with a bang and drop a new song and visual for their track  “Call Casting.”  The WSHH exclusive-cut see’s Offset, Takeoff and Quavo somewhere in Africa hanging out in a  suburban mansion and even checking out a local soccer field. The Buddah Bless-produced joint is expected to be included on the new album and includes energetic verses from each member about coming from cups of noodles and hitting corner shots like Klay Thompson. If this is any indication of what’s coming on the album, we are definitely in for something special. Make sure to peep the new visual below and look out for the “CULTURE” album in the near future.   Directed by: Keemotion
