Premiere: STUCK ON YOU – [Kaleb Mitchell]

A while back, I wrote about a rising star named Kaleb Mitchell who has been making some serious waves lately. From the first time I listened to his music, there was no doubt in my mind that he had all of skill to be a next level talent. The singer/songwriter just dropped a new track and it completely added much more weight to my previous statement. Great songs are definitely hard to come by, but what’s even harder to come by is an artist with an extensive catalog of great songs. Kaleb’s latest offering entitled “STUCK ON YOU” adds to this impressive catalog. If you’ve followed my writing, you know that I’m a huge fan of any song that utilizes soulful and groovy guitars. Upon pressing play, you’ll notice that Kaleb uses a simple guitar riff to set the tone for this banger.  Release after release, Kaleb just keeps on getting better. Not only is “STUCK ON YOU” a song that you won’t be able to get out of your head, it’s also a song full of passion and substance; which is its main driving force. Kaleb uses the stellar production and his magnificent vocals to paint a beautiful picture …

FOOL – [Kaleb Mitchell]

February 14th has definitely been a day I’ve been looking forward to for some time now. However, while the majority of people are excited to join in on the festivities, my excitement stems from the fact that Kaleb Mitchell has been consistently teasing a new Valentine’s Day track and today, it’s finally here! It’s pretty hard to believe that the New Jersey Native is just now making his Lyrical Lemonade debut, because if you check out any of his previous projects, there is no question that Kaleb Mitchell is a force that’s most definitely here to stay. With this, after a very strong showing in 2018, Kaleb has decided to hit the ground running in 2019 with his new track, “FOOL”. This new offering is a track about love, but whether you’re in a relationship, single, or trying to figure things out, it’s a vibe that you need to check out immediately.  When you factor in Kaleb’s vocals/lyrical flow and drop those two on top of the stellar production, the result is a masterpiece; and in my opinion, that’s what you get as soon as you press play. Kaleb perfectly highlights his talent and versatility in a very passionate yet …

Deyssler – [Obed Padilla]

To add onto the list of Valentine’s Day releases, it’s only right that I highlight a project that deserves all of the attention in the world. If you haven’t heard of Obed Padilla, it’s about time you check out all of his music and put it right in your library, because the Oceanside, California native just dropped a 14 song album called Deyssler and quite honestly, it’s one of the most impressive projects I’ve heard this year. I use the word impressive because of Obed’s skill set. The guy does it all. He sings, raps, plays guitar, and produces without missing a single beat. That’s the best part about this offering; Obed is able to show off his versatility while painting a picture for all of his listeners throughout each and every track, and there are also some pretty dope appearances by artists including Asaiah Ziv, Foggieraw, Kaleb Mitchell, John Givez, and Saint Marcel, with each one complimenting the other in a refreshing and effortless way.  That said, this rising artist is making his Lyrical Lemonade debut today, but this definitely won’t be the last you hear of him. His latest album is filled with a variety of tracks that have something …

The Kid In His Room – [Adrian Stresow]

Adrian Stresow made his Lyrical Lemonade debut earlier this summer when he dropped “Hold Up”, and tonight he is making his return with his brand new project titled “The Kid In His Room”. This project is really introspective, but I’m sure you could see that coming from the title. Adrian made sure each one of these tracks provided served a purpose to the overall idea of the project, and you will see where I’m coming from as soon as you listen to the intro track. The energy & solid story telling skills carried all the way throughout this track list, not leaving one dull moment in the whole tape. The lone feature on this tape came from Kaleb Mitchell on the song “Worth”, and it put it in simplest terms, he did not disappoint. You might as well get familiar with Adrian now, because he will be making his way back on LL again & again. Stream the brand new project below!
