Tuesday (Official Music Video)-[Jahmed] feat. [Ruby Red]

It’s the top of the week, which means it’s time for me to get y’all up to speed on anything and everything that you may have missed over the last few days. As the year winds down and Christmas gets closer, there are going to be a plethora of artists who are going to drop some heat, so it’s evident that we don’t overlook it. An offering that you most definitely need to take time out of your day to peep is by an up and comer named JAHMED, who we’re super excited about. If you haven’t heard the name, then it’s about time that you do a deep dive into the Pomona native’s artistry. Back in September, he enlisted help from up and coming duo, Ruby Red to give us a phenomenal track called “Tuesday” and today, they’re all making it into our page for the release of the video for it. This was one of those videos that had my attention from the very moment I pressed play. The beautifully directed visual feels like something out of a movie as it exudes life and light in every shot. JAHMED & Ruby Red are just some cool guys and …

ACTUP – [Party Favor] x [Jahmed]

Today I am extremely happy to bring our audience the premiere of the brand new visualizer for “ACTUP” by Party Favor featuring Jahmed! Party Favor is the brilliant mind who was behind this track, as he created an ear-pleasing + complex instrumental that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Party Favor paved the perfect path for Jahmed to jump on the beat and do his thing, absolutely going crazy for the entire duration of the track, leaving behind plenty of catchy bars in the process. An exciting this about this record is that it’s about to get a huge placement on one of the biggest video games in the world, which is a super underrated way to get discovered in my opinion. The odds are that you will be hearing this song frequently for the rest of 2020 and beyond, so you might as well get familiar with it now, press play below!

One of the most exciting rap artist to emerge in the last year, in my opinion at least, is JAHMED. The newly emerged Human Re Sources signee is no stranger to Lyrical Lemonade but is making his latest appearance on our site for his eight-track debut, THEBOOFMOBILE. Chock-full of agile lyricism, hard-hitting production and a dynamic vocal ability that catapults his sound far beyond the average rapper, JAHMED’s debut is an impressive introduction into an artist who is clearly going to be the focus of our attention for a long time. Opened by a short preview, titled “Prelude,” the project begins with the previously covered “JEEP,” as its stirring bravado and bulletproof attitude sets a reoccurring theme of the project. Transitioning into the grit of “REDLIGHT” and the bass-rattling nature of “MAZDA,” JAHMED oozes the culmination of his upbringing as he combines the southern trap style of his Texas roots while simultaneously implementing the sounds of his West Coast identity. This sonic surge in sound, delivery and flow continues shines on the project’s later tracks, “TWOTEN” and “LIFTMEUP.” Both records exude unwavering confidence and a quotable braggadocios attitude that is irresistibly infectious. To simply say JAHMED’s new project is concise would …

Pomona, California’s quickly rising rapper JAHMED continues to flood his growing fan base with eclectic examples of his lyrical chops. His newly released single, “JEEP,” packs a punch both through haunting production and lyrics that come face-to-face with the internal struggle between confident feelings of unshakeable immortality and passive feelings of life’s fragility. Whether energized by the bulletproof-mentality of the song’s chorus, “I am the man of my house / I am the man of my city / kick in in the door with the extras / spilling champagne on your couch,” or befuddled at the sheer ferocity of the song’s more introspective and self-reflecting verses, JAHMED manages to grab your attention early and never let you go. The driving new single is JAHMED’s third release of the new year and another palpable example of his ability to continue to deliver – this is an artist you do not want to sleep on.
