3AM – [E Bleu]

I can almost guarantee that a lot of us out there have had one of those unforgettable nights where everything seemed to go right. Whether that be coming home from a party, a night out with your crew, or coming home from a link with a special someone–we all have been in those positions where we just sit and reflect about the events that just took place. That’s one thing that Houston-native E Bleu kept in mind when he created this vibe here. Being fueled by living in the moment and appreciating a good time, E Bleu sings over a smooth lead acoustic guitar and simple drum pattern and he goes into detail about the night that just occurred. Produced by D1, E Bleu is making an appearance on our platform today with his single titled “3AM”. “I’ve always been a night owl. The energy at night is just different to me. I remember being in an Uber on the way home just mentally re capping the night and feeling like it’s somehow a pattern I fall into every night. I got home and recorded it in like 15 min on my kitchen counter at 3AM.” For those who may …

Free Lunch – [Wale]

A few days back Lyrical Lemonade favorite Wale blessed us with his brand new project titled “Free Lunch” and it’s nothing you want to miss out on. Wale came with a ton of energy from the very beginning, start the tape over a uptempo instrumentals where you will find him calling out his haters & shouting out his peers Lupe, Jay and Wayne in just the first minute. He continued to rap his off of for the entire duration of the project, I liked each and every one of the tracks provided but a couple of my favorite moments were the flows he caught un “Ungrateful & Thankful” as well as the undeniably good “My Boy”. There was only two features on these five records and they came from his long time friend J. Cole as well as the talented Eric Bellinger, as they each complimented Wale flawlessly on their respective tracks. Stream this brand new project below and if you like it be sure to keep up with Wale by giving him a follow on Twitter here!

Summer On Sunset – [Wale]

Late last night Washington DC’s own Wale released a brand new mixtape titled “Summer On Sunset.” This is the first project we have received from him ever since he gave us his highly impressive but unfortunately somewhat over looked & under rated “The Album About Nothing.” This project is very lengthy, coming in at seventeen total tracks and over an hour in time. The feature list on this tape is very strong, it includes the likes of Raheem DeVaughn, Ty Dolla $ign, Joe Moses, Tha Dog Pound, Cam’ron, Phil Ade, Jazz Cartier, Victoria Monet, Eric Bellinger, and WWE’s Jim Ross. Take a listen to the brand new mixtape below & let us know if you’re feeling it!
