Dusty Locane and Rah Swish Link Up To Shoot “BIG WOOS”

Brooklyn drill rappers Dusty Locane and Rah Swish recently released the music video to their single “BIG WOOS” on February 24. Dusty has been on the rise in NYC ever since the release of his hit single “ROLLIN N CONTROLLIN Freestyle” in 2020. “BIG WOOS” was one of the top records on his 20 track debut studio album “UNTAMED ” last December.  The official audio for the song reached over 134k views on Youtube in two months. However, the musical video obtained over 363k views in only one week. The Nimi Hendrix-directed video features the Canarsie natives flexing their jewelry and rapping amongst their friends and beautiful ladies. “What’s mine could never be yours. Change up the weather, I back out the torch. Speed up a nigga meeting with the Lord, met her in Houston, she was seducin. Slick talk, she knows what she doin.” From 2021 until now, Dusty has been extremely consistent with his music. The 22-year-old artist was welcomed into the #RIAAClassOf2021 for receiving his first GOLD certification this year with his debut single, “ROLLIN N CONTROLLIN Freestyle ” which racked up over 200 million combined streams.  “Rolando (Caught In The Rain)”  was his second GOLD certification …

Best Friend – [Dusty Locane] ft. [8anditt]

Although there are countless artists emerging out of the constantly growing New York City rap scene, there are a few names that are clearly more notable than others. One name is Dusty Locane, an artist from the streets of Canarsie who has been putting on for his city as hard, if not harder, than anyone else representing the same blocks. What I think helps his notoriety is the fact that his voice resembles that of the late Pop Smoke who people clearly love, and Dusty is doing his part to make sure to keep not only his legacy alive, but the music scene in the city alive and well also. Most recently, he teamed up with 8anditt, who is signed to Dusty’s imprint 95MM, for their song “Best Friend”, and the results speak for themselves. Teaming up with HitmanAudio on the beat once again, this track is an all-out hit, yet I couldn’t let the GoddyGoddy-directed visual go by the wayside. The dup makes this a neighborhood affair, bringing out all their homies and all of their homies’ homies to join them in the streets of Canarsie to prove that they’re not only taking over the town, but they’re taking …

Rumble – [Dusty Locane]

New York Drill music took the world by storm not too long ago if you think about it, and I don’t think it’s a wild statement to predict that it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Due to this fact, there are going to be countless up and coming acts that want their claim to the throne, and I’m here for it. While Pop Smoke was the best to ever make this kind of music in my opinion, I overlooked many other incredible talents like Fivio Foreign, who has rapidly become one of my favorite artists in general, let alone the New York scene. No matter what, there are going to be talents coming out of the woodwork and I can’t wait to see who’s next up. Most recently, I might’ve found another guy who deserves all of your attention because although he’s new to the scene, he’s definitely not intimidated by the spotlight whatsoever. His name is Dusty Locane, and while he might only have three other songs out at this point, all three of those tracks made it on Rolling Stone’s Top 25 Trending Chart. Not only did they make this coveted list, but ALL THREE cuts made it …
