With Dat – [TheHxliday] ft. [Polo G]

I’ve been a fan of TheHxliday for quite some time, at this point, yet as of late, I’ve found myself pretty much completely consumed with his discography. He has similar qualities to living legends such as Lil Uzi with overtones of emotion and pain that are more so along the lines of a Juice WRLD or XXXtentacion, and although this combination might come off as strange or out of the box, TheHxliday makes it work in some of the most remarkable ways I could’ve ever even imagined. Last week, I was beyond excited to write about his latest single “Wit Dat” not only because it was a great song, but also because it featured Polo G, one of my favorite Chicago artists out right now. While I don’t think anyone saw this collaboration coming and I was even more intrigued to see what it would sound like, they both killed their parts and brought an insane record to life. Just when I thought the fun was over, the dynamic duo teamed up once again to bring an awesome music video to life directed by Kevin Mares and Dogfood Media. Right off the bat, TheHxliday and his girl are hanging out …

Remember – [Badger]

Badger is a creative who has been making some great music in 2020, I have found a liking to plenty of his past offerings and today he is back on our website with his brand new music video for “Remember”. Badger is a versatile artist who shines both with his rapping abilities + his silky smooth singing vocals, he has the capabilities + potential to be a big-time artist one day, and I believe that this release is a glimpse of just that. This music video was shot in Chicago, if you are familiar with the city, you will see some familiar places. Take a few minutes out of your Monday to watch this brand new music video below! The One – [Tibby] x [Mix]

Tibby is a Chicagoan who has been featured on our pages since the early stages of our website, and tonight he is adding another appearance to that growing list with his brand new music video for “The One” featuring Mix! It’s been quite the experience to watch Tibby grow into the solid young artist that he is today, he has been consistent as an emcee and has been growing into a pretty good singer, & both of those skills really showed themselves on this one. Aside from Tibby’s contribution, the featured artist Mix definitely stepped up to the plate & did his thing, helping Tibby craft & executive the vision that he had. Drip – [Tibby] & [Mix]

Chicago’s own Tibby has been a regularly featured artist on our website over the past three or four years, and this afternoon he is back with his brand new music video for “Drip” featuring Mix! I was very familiar with Tibby going into this joint and he put on a great performance just as I expected he would, but I was also very impressed with the effort that Mix gave on this one, I am going to make it a point to check out some of his music after I finish this article. The two emcees connected with Dogfood Media who directed this video, capturing a beautiful sun filled day at a beach in Chicago and all in all creating something to be proud of. Take a few minutes out of your weekend to check out this new video below! Produced by @blackmayo

Lil Zay Osama – [Back When I Was Young]

Many people find comfort or happiness in nostalgia, though reminiscing back on childhood times can be a completely different experience for some. This is what Lil Zay Osama expresses in his newest single, “Back When I Was Young.” Zay talks about time of struggle and hardship growing up in the streets of the Windy City. “I had to sneak on the back of the bus ’cause i ain’t have funds.” The track dropped roughly a week ago, but this morning Zay premiered the visual for the song as well. The video portrays him in multiple different city childhood scenes; the bus, the street, a bedroom, and an alleyway. Zay was attempting to recreate his past with children throwing stones, playing ball, wrestling, and cutting grass. The video does a great job of bringing forth nostalgia, and though Zay grew up in difficult circumstances, many can relate to some of the little things represented. Lil Zay Osama is no stranger to the rap game, but as of late I’ve found him in my library much more. The mixture of his real-world lyricism, intriguing vocals, and storytelling aura has given me a consistent reason to keep coming back any time he releases …

Aye – [Tibby]

Chicago emcee Tibby has been featured on our platform multiple times over the past few years, and today he is making his way back with his brand new music video for “Aye”. Tibby has always excelled at creative sonically pleasing jams are sure to have your head nodding as you listen, as this new joint just might be “the one” for him, hopefully we get to see this song on the radio soon. I also think that Tibby has been overall improving the quality of his music and his visuals, a large part of the credit goes to DogFood Media for directing it, but this music video is clean!
