Who To Blame + AKA – [Cdot Honcho]

It’s been an amazing experience to watch the growth of Chicago native Cdot Honcho over the past handful of years, he has grown tremendously and is rapping better than he ever has before. Today, Cdot is back on our website with his brand new two in one music video for “Who To Blame” and “AKA”. Last year Cdot released an outstanding project called H5, which landed pretty high on our Top 50 Chicago Projects of 2020 list, and he just recently announced that the deluxe of that project will be dropping this Friday! It appears as if these two records here will be apart of that deluxe, and if the rest of the songs are as good as these two, then expect the new version to be much better than the already good original. Top 50 Chicago Projects of 2020

It’s obvious that 2020 didn’t turn out nearly how anyone expected at the top of the year. With a global pandemic shaking things up, a pivotal presidential election coming to a head, numerous generational talents passing away, and racial injustice protests taking place across the country, it’s safe to say that this year was beyond unpredictable from even the most seasoned psychics. Nonetheless, Chicago persevered like only we know-how, bringing attention to these issues while also divulging into a plethora of other, more personal narratives in the form of music. Throughout the year, some mainstays in the city continued to impress us here at Lyrical Lemonade while other up-and-comers made some very valid, attention-grabbing claims as to why they’re the next rising star that deserves a place at the table. Also worthy of note, Chicago had some truly excruciating losses this year in terms of music legends whose work still shined through as some of the most impressive of the year, primed to carry on their legacy for years to come. All of that said, we’re more than excited to round this farfetched year out with Lyrical Lemonade’s Top 50 Chicago Projects of 2020. This is our 5th year bringing …

Then Leave Remix – [Cdot Honcho]

I apologize because I am a couple of weeks late to this, but not too long ago LL favorite Cdot Honcho dropped a new music video for his “Then Leave Remix”. Cdot Honcho has had an amazing year in 2020 despite the worldwide pandemic that has hurt many artists, he has kept supplying his fanbase with amazing music and stellar visuals to match. Actually, all of Cdot’s recent music videos have been very on point, shout out to the video director Will Mass for helping Cdot make this one possible, I am sure we will see more from them in the future. At Peace – [Cdot Honcho]

Chicago native Cdot Honcho just recently dropped his new project H5, and in my opinion, it’s one of the best projects to come out of Chicago in 2020 so far. I loved every song on the tape, but my favorite of the bunch was the intro record “At Peace”, so I was ecstatic today when Cdot dropped the new music video for the song. This visual for more like a movie or a short film, Cdot made sure that this one has a captivating visual representation + I believe his fanbase will appreciate it as I did. Cdot Honcho is a true Chicago legend and I want more people to give him his flowers while he’s here to receive them, he’s hands down one of the hottest artists that the city has to offer and he has been doing a fantastic job if you ask me. Warrior – [Cdot Honcho]

Cdot Honcho is an artist out of Chicago who is one of the most underrated emcees in the city in my opinion, and today he is back on our website with his brand new music video for “Warrior”. This visual starts off with Cdot + his crew at a house at first, before heading out the door + jumping into the whip & riding through the city. Cdot Honcho is one of the best rappers in the city without a doubt, he puts it on display every time he releases a track and this song was no exception. I really hope that Cdot Honcho releases a new project before the end of the year, the fans need it! Watch this new music video below. Whats Poppin Remix – [Cdot Honcho]

Cdot Honcho is a Chicago mainstay and has been a favorite of ours here at Lyrical Lemonade for some years now, and a week or two ago he dropped a brand new remix to Jack Harlow’s smash hit “Whats Poppin”. It’s not out of the ordinary to hear Cdot Honcho remix records and do some serious damage in the process, I’ve seen him do this time and time again, so as soon as I saw the title of the video, I just knew he was about to snap! Of course, Cdot went off for two minutes straight, and it was so refreshing to hear some new content from him. Hopefully, we receive some more stuff from him in the near future, but until then, check out this new remix video below.

Mop Freestyle – [Cdot Honcho]

Unless you have been living under a rock, you surely know of the viral hit song and dance that is “Mop”, and today Chicago’s own Cdot Honcho decided to release his brand new freestyle + music video over the sensational instrumental! Cdot Honcho is one of the best rappers out of Chicago but that’s no secret, so I had some high expectations coming into this one, but he exceeded my already high standing expectations with his catchy words + impressive wordplay. Cdot Honcho never fails to deliver great music for us fans, he does it time and time again and this was here it only adding to his seemingly never-ending list of hits. This was an excellent release in my book and it only leaves me more eager to see what else Cdot Honcho provides for us in 2020, but for the time being go ahead and watch this brand new visual below.

Bipolar – [Cdot Honcho]

Cdot Honcho is a Chicago legend who we are huge fans of here at Lyrical Lemonade, and a few days back he released a brand new music video for “Bipolar”. This song + visual tell a story that is centered around Cdot Honcho and his longtime girlfriend, where the first verse is all about their relationship + love for each other, but just as you probably expected from the title, the second verse switches to a more bipolar approach that finds him airing out some of the issues that they go through in their relationship. It was dope to hear a storytelling side of Cdot Honcho on this record, he was on point with the way he painted this picture and both him & his girl did a fantastic job with the acting in the music video. Take some time below to watch this brand new visual and if you like it then go ahead and follow Cdot on Twitter here.

Too Fast – [Cdot Honcho]

Chicago emcee Cdot Honcho just released a brand new visual for “Too Fast” late last night and it’s not anything you want to sleep on! Cdot Honcho never fails to give us electrifying records and he typically matches those records with even better music videos, so I didn’t expect him to stop now, and sure enough he came through yet again with a dope visual! People have to start acknowledging the superstar that Cdot Honcho is, he one easily one of the most consistent artists out of Chicago and I see him continuing to rise until he gets to where he wants to be at!
