Walk Em Down- [NLE Choppa] ft. [Roddy Ricch]

Two of the brightest young talents in the world of Rap music today are undoubtedly NLE Choppa and Roddy Ricch. Choppa has made a name for himself through an energetic persona, wild lyricism, and uncharacteristic flows that help him stick out amongst the pack. I know it’s probably awful of me, but I know a little less about Roddy Ricch, and I need to change that especially after hearing him on this new single the duo dropped. What I do know about him, however, is he spent so much time with “The Box” at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts that I couldn’t scroll through my timeline for weeks without hearing about it, so my negligence was at an all-time high. “Walk Em Down” is the name of the latest single that the pair dropped, and it’s quite a spectacle. CashMoneyAP’s skills are in full effect as he creates a beat full of acoustic guitar, swinging 808s, and trap percussion. NLE takes the hook where he uses a melodic delivery to pave the way for an overly catchy basis for the entire track, before repeating the phrase “Walk Em Down” in a manner that’s sure to get stuck …

Watch Xanman Going Crazy in the Studio With Illroots

I’ve always been fascinated with the intricacies of music, not just the product of music itself. The recording, the shows, the behind-the-scenes footage, and the people as well. In this seven-minute clip given presented to us beautifully by Illroots, we are able to see a little bit of all those things when they sit down with rapper and producer Xanman in LA for a studio session. It begins with Xanman explaining a little about himself and goes more deeply into the “why” in terms of his reasoning behind him making music. He states no matter the profit, he will always be 100% committed to music, because for him the music is his passion and no matter the fortune he gains from it he will always be invested into the culture itself. “I ain’t talking too much, I get good money, but that’s not the motivation – because like I previously said, I love it.” It feels nowadays this mindset in music can somewhat get lost, with many artists seemingly making it big overnight, and suddenly then falling off. This idea from Xanman is refreshing, and brings back a motivational, organic side to music creation that many might miss. Xanman then …

Say Less – [3name]

An emcee out of Chicago that goes by the moniker of 3name is making his Lyrical Lemonade debut this afternoon with his brand new offering titled “Say Less”. The first thing that caught my attention one this one was the CashMoneyAP production credit, but soon after diving into this one I saw the pure capability that he possessed, and once I saw he was from the crib it was game over. This may be the first time that you see 3name on our site but it surely won’t be the last, I am excited to see where he takes it from here. Stream this brand new tune below and if you like his sound then don’t forget to give him a follow here.

COLDHEARTED EP – [Bernard Jabs]

Whether you’re a musician, an accountant, a waiter, or any other job under the sun, it’s always important to learn how to have fun with your career. Take your job seriously and be the best that you can, but don’t take yourself too seriously. Few artists embody this sentiment better than 17-year old Def Jam signee, Bernard Jabs. And yes, I said 17-years old. Both on and off the mic, this Georgia-bred talent radiates energy. There’s never a dull moment if Jabs is involved, and this certainly carries over to his music, as the budding talent has grown a loyal following thanks to electrifying singles and a social media-savvy marketing approach. He knows how to utilize the resources around him but he’s also authentic as can be, always dropping snippets and garnering buzz where he can, and consequently growing his ever-increasing base of dedicated listeners along the way. With this, even as a high school student, Bernard Jabs has signed to Def Jam, toured with Pusha T, and developed a considerable following of fans, none of which he has seemed even slightly underprepared for. The truth is, for Jabs, his determination spans far beyond his years, pointing to an incredibly …

Daily – [Pollari]

Pollari has been a favorite at Lyrical Lemonade for a minute now, and tonight he is finding himself back on our platform with his brand new music video for “Daily”. This is an extremely abstract visual and it won’t take you more than thirty seconds in to realize that, there is so much going on that it’s damn near hard to keep up with but it’s very entertaining overall. Pollari has an unmatched ability to flawlessly blend with what seems like any type of instrumental, but especially when the producer is CashMoneyAP like on this new joint! Check out this brand new music video below and if you like it be sure to give Pollari a follow on Twitter here! Video via No Jumper, directed by Jon Psycho

Opps Want Me Dead – [Lil Skies]

Over the holiday weekend rising superstar Lil Skies promised his massive fan base that he would be blessing them with new music on Monday, and sure enough here we are with his brand new release titled “Opps Want Me Dead”. As soon as I heard the CashMoneyAp tag at the start of this song I knew it was going to be a hit due to their history of creating timeless bangers together, and just as I expected they creating a sonically pleasing record that will be in rotation for months to come. Take a few minutes of your day to stream this brand new song below and if you like it be sure to share it with a friend!

Cloutville – [Cypher Clique]

If I am not mistaken this is the third or fourth time that Cypher Clique has been featured on our platform, but considering that this is the full length project I would say that this is the most important post by far. I have been waiting to hear this project for a minute now but I have been even more excited to see what the masses think about it, but based on the quality of these four track provided i guess that they are getting nothing but positive feedback. I love that each and every time that I tune into their music I get a sudden rush of energy, mainly because they always keep a high tempo and it’s contagious to the listener, but don’t take my word for it though find out for yourself below. Produced by James Major and CashMoneyAP

She Don’t Love Me – [Kevin George] Ft. [Gunna]

An artist that goes by the name of Kevin George is making his Lyrical Lemonade debut tonight with his brand new offering titled “She Don’t Love Me” featuring Gunna! The first thing that caught my attention on this record was the CashMoneyAP tag at the beginning so you already knew it was going to be a hit, AP teamed up with TheBeatzEra who helped him cook up this beat & they did a phenomenal job. When Kevin George jumped on the track I was extremely impressed with his crisp vocal performance, proving listeners with a catchy hook as well as a solid verse. The feature toward the middle of this track from Gunna took it to that next level, as his impactful contribution complimented Kevin perfect on their way to creating this amazing cut. Take a few minutes to check out this brand new record below and if you like it be sure to keep up with Kevin by giving him a follow on Twitter here!

Lust – [Lil Skies]

Just when you thought Lil Skies movie-like visuals couldn’t get any crazier, the LL favorite is back with an amazing new visual for his CashMoneyAP-produced hit Lust that dropped as a single prior to the Life Of A Dark Rose tape back in January. Directed by Nicholas Jandora, the cinematic see’s Skies take the role of an undercover policeman before responding to a call and being transformed into cartoon-form courtesy of animations from Tristan Zammit. From riding a rainbow in a coupe to throwing money at a strip club while on shift, the must-see video is arguably one of Skies best visual experiences to date. Let’s hope the next visual from the LOADR mixtape isn’t too far away but for now, feast your eyes on the Lust video immediately and check back for more from Lil Skies in the near future.

G-STAR – [Forest Watson]

Browsing through SoundCloud this past week, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a Dallas artist by the name of Forest Watson and his hard-hitting single, “G-Star”. Based on what we hear from this track, I’m thoroughly convinced that Watson could be something special, and I think you might agree after hearing the strength of the CashMoneyAP and DJ Kronic-produced single. “G-Star” is dripping in designer clothes, nodding to G-Star Jeans, Comme Des Garcons, and Supreme as the luxurious fuel to a song of such illustrative force. Adding to this, Forest Watson knows when and where to go his hardest, complementing the beat with a raw energy that not many artists are able to bring about in such an authentic manner. He details designer clothes, flipping packs, and more, offering fans a personal account of his life and all of its trials and tribulations as he absolutely goes in, bar after bar. I could go on about this track all day, but check it out for yourself by clicking play at the link below and let us know what you think in the comments!
