In My Bag – [Carti Bankx]

Here to make his presence known on our pages today, Milwaukee-based artist, Carti Bankx, returns to the spotlight with a brand new single, “In My Bag.” The new money-centered record finds Bankx melodic as ever, delivering a fully loaded set of bars over minimal, bass-punching production, resulting in a vibe from start to finish that uses the vocals as the main role in its progression. Almost hypnotizing in his delivery, Carti Bankx holds your attention during the entire track, and through his throttling cadence and catchy, money-hungry hooks, he’s able to build upon the hype created in his last offering, the four-track project, Lonely Star. That said, the release of his newest song has us anxious to see what else Bankx has in store for us prior to his forthcoming album’s release, so give “in my bag” a listen at the link below and make sure to show love on Twitter and Instagram.

Lonely Star – [Carti Bankx]

An artist that goes by the moniker of Carti Bankx is making his Lyrical Lemonade debut tonight with his brand new EP titled “Lonely Star”. The idea for this tape came from Carti wanted to give his fans some music to hold them over until the album and he really provided them with some quality music, which makes me wonder just how good the full length is going to be if these were cut from that track list. Each of the four songs provided had an uptempo feel that Carti seems to master, and although I liked all of the songs I must say that the intro track was my favorite. Enough of my thoughts about it though, take a listen below and judge for yourself!
