I Don’t Live Anywhere. – [Ben Zaidi]

Ben Zaidi has a permanent pass onto our pages for the simple fact that he never misses. Each song he puts out is a carefully crafted story that he meticulously packages up in a way that results in nothing other than a gift for his listeners. The brand new track that he just recently dropped might be my favorite one by him yet. The offering is entitled, “I Don’t Live Anywhere.” and it’ll take you down a deep retrospective path of finding the things that mean most to you. From start to finish, this track hooks you. I’m not sure if it’s the simple guitar strums or Ben’s gentle yet powerful vocals, but regardless, everything thats going on in this song just works and the final product is nothing shy of spectacular. Ben has been putting out some seriously captivating tunes as of late which has been such a treat for us music lovers. I really can’t stress how good this 3 minute offering is. Ben continues to raise the bar for each release and continue to meet it each time. He and his team are killing it and it’s so exciting to see the continual evolution that’s taking place …

What If I Took Your Place..?-[Ben Zaidi]

I’ve found myself writing about Ben Zaidi a lot in the past month and I don’t see myself stopping since he’s consistently dropping tracks that deserve to be heard. Today, the Seattle native just released a brand new song that is contagious to anyone who listens to it. What I love most about Ben is his simplistic style and how he’s able to make an impact on a song without over-doing anything. He’s able to stay authentically him which has proven to be one of his biggest assets across his music. This brand new offering entitled, “What If I Took Your Place..?” is a wavy track that will expose you to a brand new side of Ben as an artist. His vocals are always strong, but what I loved most about this song is the production and hook. What looks to be a slow ballad quickly takes a life of its own as a really cool piece that’s well rounded in all the right ways. I really want y’all to experience this brand new Ben Zaidi track. Ricochet. (The Crisis Is Inside Us) – [Ben Zaidi]

The artist, Ben Zaidi just dropped a brand new track that will make time stop as soon as you press play. “Ricochet. (The Crisis Is Inside Us)” is an emotionally driven piece that has the ability to tug on the heart strings of anyone who takes the time to listen. Some of he best songs are those that challenge others to reflect on life and what it truly means. Ben does just that throughout this 3 minute ballad.  Right off the bat, you can tell that Ben poured out all of his feelings, doubts, worries, and anxiety into this work of art. I’ve praised Ben for his transparency before, but this is definitely the song that Ben breaks the walls down and gives us a look into his mind and various societal concepts all of us struggle with today. The production is powerful but gentle at the same time which leaves room for the parts that need to be highlighted without overpowering to subtle portions. Ben’s vocals are the cherry on the top for this well constructed track, I could go on and on, but I would really love it if ya’ll checked this one out. I’ve attached The Spotify …

Smallness. – [Ben Zaidi]

A couple of months back, I wrote an in depth review on Travis Thompson’s latest album entitled “Reckless Endangerment”.  The project was filled with abunch of great tracks, but my favorite one had to be this joint called “Malice”. This song boasted everything you’d expect from Travis Thompson, but the real treat came from an artist named Ben Zaidi who featured on it. Towards the latter part of the song, Zaidi punched in and added his beautiful vocal talents to bring an overall fullness to the track.  Once I heard “Malice”, I knew I had to check out Ben for myself; and after taking some time to dive into his discography, I immediately knew that this guy was legit. Today, The 26 year old Seattle native is making it onto our pages for the impressive release of his latest song entitled, “Smallness.”. Upon pressing play, you’ll notice that this song isn’t one you’ll want to rush through. The meticulous nature of the production and the calming ambience is all thanks to well known producer, Budo, who has worked with names like Doja Cat, Macklemore, Sol, Grieves etc. What I love most about this song is the emotions that Ben portrays …

Premiere: Reckless Endangerment – [Travis Thompson]

Out of all of the rappers in this industry, there are truly only a few that maintain that “it factor”. Music taste is and will always be subjective, but a rapper who I think definitely has the “it factor” is Travis Thompson. I’ve been listening to the Washington native for some time now and it’s such a pleasure to see him continuously evolve into something very special. Today, the talented artist is making his way back onto our pages for the release of his brand new album entitled “Reckless Endangerment”. If you’re familiar with Travis, you’d know that his Lyrical delivery is out of this world. This project showcases that skill in every single way. I had such a fun time listening to this new offering by Travis; so much so that I had to grab a couple quotes from him to figure out what this project and these songs mean to him.  One of my favorite tracks is a piece called “God’s favorite”. Travis explained that it “was one of the first songs we made for the album. We’ve  actually been sitting on it for a year now. I had way too many friends in the studio the night …
