Its All On U – [Icewear Vezzo] ft. [Kodak Black]

It seems like the music scene in Detroit had barely gotten its feet off the ground before Icewear Vezzo completely took off, but after hearing a handful of his songs, it’s abundantly clear why he has become so ridiculously successful. His skill set is diverse, his work ethic is unmatched, and he has this personality that you can’t ignore even if rap music isn’t really your thing in general. Whether he’s dropping entire projects, singles, or even being featured on other artists’ songs, he is literally everywhere, and due to the fact that he always works with different emcees with various styles, it shows just how adaptable he is, and he proves that every chance he gets. I know I already mentioned it once, but his work ethic is seriously insane, and even though he isn’t even a month removed from dropping his latest album Rich Off Pints 3, he is back with a brand-new Antt Beatz-produced single entitled “Its All On U” featuring none other than Kodak Black, as well as a Kardiak Films-directed visual that brings out his entire city once again. U-Digg – [Lil Baby] ft. [42 Dugg] & [Veeze]

There are some emcees in the rap world that are simply certified hitmakers, and their levels of fame far exceed anything that I could even fathom in my own life. Bonafide superstars are what I consider these people, and there aren’t too many more beyond the likes of Drake, Kanye, and Jay-Z. Well, although it’s hard to imagine that he is quite there yet because his career is still so young, one rapper who I think is well on his way to a legacy that won’t be forgotten about is Atlanta’s Lil Baby. He just has this star power that translates into any song he jumps on turning to gold, both intangibly and physically. Somehow I was late to his Antt Beatz-produced song “U-Digg”, and while I can’t sit here and claim to tap in with every single release he puts out, I am a massive Detroit rap fan, so considering he recruited 42 Dugg and Veeze to join him, I was shocked that I didn’t know sooner. Dugg isn’t someone who surprises me because this duo has worked together in the past, but Veeze is still so underground and underappreciated, so I was most excited to see what he …

Free Me – [42 Dugg]

Coming off a successful album and record charting features with Lil Baby, Detroit rapper 42 Dugg returns with a new single, Free Me. When the first thing you hear is Dugg’s iconic whistle, you know you’re in for a real treat and this record is no different. Utilizing his classic slurred speech Dugg delivers two solid verses that have you nodding your head to the catchy tune but are also incredibly lyrical and tell an intricate story about his personal life. Pouring his heart into his lyrics it’s undeniable that 42 Dugg has one of the best flows and story-telling abilities in the game right now. The production behind the track is nothing short of spectacular with an electronic inspired instrumental that really allows Dugg. Take some time and listen to Dugg’s new work down below.
