While I’ll save the bigger conversation for a later date, it needs to mentioned that the rise of acts such as JPEGMAFIA, 100 gecs, and Danger Incorporated speak a great deal about the condition of music in the age of the internet. With more bandwidth for just about any kind of music to gain momentum, fans are taking chances on experimental, left-of-center acts, and the result is a refreshing surge of boundary-pushing music. Today, capturing this momentum en route to their forthcoming album, Danger Incorporated is here to share a brand of new single, “Wassup Phonies.”

Upon my first few listens of the song, I immediately came to somewhat of a realization; Danger Incorporated has created a prosperous lane that quite honestly, no other artists exist in. They’re the exact embodiment of “one-of-a-kind,” and while tracks like “Wassup Phonies” certainly fall in line with some of the group’s past work, they certainly don’t stop pushing the needle forward. Rather, Danger Incorporated is constantly evolving and growing, developing a loyal following of Danger Boys along the way.

Accordingly so, between the looming intensity of the deliveries and the sheer force of the guitar-based instrumentation, “Wassup Phonies” is a perfect way to continue pushing toward the top. By all counts, Danger Incorporated is on the up, so don’t sleep.
