Vanish Mode – [SleazyWorld Go]

Over the past 8 months or so, it seems like there hasn’t been a single week that has passed where I haven’t heard someone talk about SleazyWorld Go, but when you look at his recent track record of bangers, it makes sense why he’s always the topic of conversation. The Kansas City hitmaker has been rising into the spotlight pretty steadily over the past year or two, and after solidifying numerous notable cosigns, dropping a few chart-topping records, and popping up on music media sites all over the world, it feels like there isn’t much else that needs to be done to secure his spot as one of the very best emcees in the new generation of rappers.

It’s just hard to fathom the fact that he is barely getting his career off the ground and he has already seen so much success early on, so he is certainly going to be someone you simply can’t ignore as he continues his takeover. His mixtape Where the Shooters Be isn’t even a week old yet, but he hasn’t even come close to moving on from the tape’s celebration, dropping a WaterWippinEvan-directed music video for “Vanish Mode” which just so happens to be one of my favorite cuts out of the 21 song tracklist.

Like a lot of his music, his videos are often fairly minimalistic but cut deep into your soul, matching the aggressive aesthetic of the music that is the foundation of every film. This one remains consistent with this strategy, however, there are numerous animations that add an unignorable pop to the scenes, providing viewers with some vibrant, out-of-the-box elements that really help this one stand out amongst the rest. With practice and experience comes excellence, and considering Sleazy’s latest mixtape has won over fans even more than ever before, I think we’re still in for a handful of treats in terms of visuals moving forward, so I can’t wait to see what he has in store!
