Considering he’s been on the grind since 2013, it feels weird to consider Pell a “new” artist, but on Friday, the New Orleans native announced that his debut album Gravity, is set to drop June 21st. Along with the announcement, Pell also dropped off the second single from the album, “Too Much Of a Good Thing.”

The years of hard work have clearly paid off because Pell sounds as fresh and convincing as ever.  Laying the foundation for the vibrant offering, Martin Waves creates an atmospheric, layered backdrop teeming with life. Even with such a big, dense feel, Pell doesn’t get swallowed up. He brings a special energy to the cut and brings sit all home with some smooth yet powerful crooning on the hook.

With “Bitch Ass” and now “Too Much Of A Good Thing,” Gravity is shaping up to be a big moment for Pell.
