The 2022 edition of Rolling Loud New York took place over the weekend from Sept. 23 until Sept. 25 at Citi Field in Queens, N.Y. For the music festival’s third return to NYC, this year’s Rolling Loud lineup included a mix of up-and-coming talent and some of the biggest names across the world. Unfortunately, before the festivities could begin, Bronx native Sha Ek, Brooklyn’s 22Gz, and Ron Suno, were removed from the lineup based on a potential for violence even though other drill artists from NYC were still allowed to attend. However, the show must still go on.
To kick off day one, Rolling Loud stages were sponsored by Fashion Nova, Dusse, and SNIPES. The main headliners were Queen Nicki Minaj, Playboi Carti, and Chief Keef. We also saw stars like Lil Uzi Vert, G Herbo, Lil Tjay, Sleazy World Go, BIA, Moneybagg Yo, Fivio Foreign, Lola Brooke, and Kali. Day 2 continued with A$AP Rocky, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Lil Baby, GloRilla, Lakeyah Saint JHN, and B-Lovee. The third and final day of the festival saw performers Future, Fat Joe, Pusha T, Benny the Butcher, Soulja Boy, J.I., and others closing out the music event.
