Premiere: Unholy Matrimony (Official Video)-[Mack Keane]

Mack Keane made it on to our page a couple of weeks back in a showing that was nothing short of spectacular! His recent release, “Hurt People” has been on the top of my Spotify rotation for some time now and it’s all due to his pure talent and undeniable swagger.

Today, the 23-year-old Los Angeles native makes it back into our pages for the release of his brand new music video for “Unholy Matrimony”. If you thought “Hurt People” was good, then you’re in for a treat on this one. It just seems like Mack gets better and better after each release and this is definitely the case when it comes to this offering. The song itself is spectacular, but the music video adds a whole new depth to the piece. Directed & Produced by The Floating Condo, the 4 minute and 43 second visual is truly cinematic as it takes us on a journey into the mind of Mack Keane and the narrative he created. I was able to grab a quote from Mack about this one and he explained,

“The approach we wanted to take with the music video was to create an actual movie and world around the song to tell a story. The video follows my character and his sidekick in an anthology of hectic drug deals and situations they get in. My character is performing the song to essentially explain how he wound up where he is in the first place, through a life of unsolicited substance abuse. The viewer is immediately thrown into this world these characters exist in, and they may leave slightly disoriented. However the creative team behind the video, The Floating Condo, is continuing the story of this world with more short films and music videos which will start to rollout as this year comes to a close.”

The goal with this one was to create a movie and Mack Keane along with his team executed it to perfection. Mack is a star through and through and this music video does a great job of highlighting that. If this doesn’t make you excited for the up and comer’s career then I truly don’t know what will. I’ve attached the youtube link down below, so give it a watch and let us know what you think!
