Let You Know – [Eem Triplin] ft. [$NOT]

As time has gone on, Eem Triplin has steadily made a name for himself as one of the most exciting up-and-coming rappers in the entire music industry. Thanks to a mixture of his own inventive production, extremely clean music videos, and one-of-a-kind sound, he is a name that people haven’t overlooked since he first got behind a mic not too long ago. If his name sounds familiar, that’s because he is one of the main masterminds behind some of $NOT’s most viral and impressive jams, crafting instrumentals for songs like “Revenge”, “Benzo”, and many more.

As Eem has continued to see his stock price rise while releasing banger after banger, I had no choice but to constantly wonder if he’d actually hop on a song with the Florida phenom at some point this early in his rap career. Well, considering they’ve been with each other more than ever before (See $NOT’s music video for his latest song “Simple”), it seems only fitting that they finally got a song in, and the result of their creative brilliance is a record called “Let You Know”.

The production features some characteristic organs, succinct drums, and unique percussion, all of which come together to set the tone for these two emcees to share their gifts with the world. Eem’s vocals contain his trademark effects that seem to bring a sort of granular filter to the party, elevating his impressive and steady triplet bars that will get stuck in your head even before you have listened enough to fully rap along.

Trading off with the rising star, $NOT comes in with a bit more of a nonchalant sound, casually thrashing through lines that remain consistent with the cadence that Eem first introduced to the track but doing it in such a way that differentiates it just as much as it provides some much-appreciated continuity to the song. Considering how close these two musicians are, I find it hard to believe that this is the only time they’ll team up on a track, but either way, it is quite a spectacle that lived up to any and all expectations I ever had about this collaboration, making it a must-listen for any fan of either emcee.
