Hot Box – [Slimelife Shawty]

Atlanta’s Slimelife Shawty has been a model of consistency in his already tenured career for an artist of his age but even though his output outpaces his other industry peers his music is presented in a way, and more importantly he carries himself in a way, that is one-hundred-percent real and uncompromised and this assured charisma rapidly endeared him to the city of Atlanta and the south beyond, collaborating with a number of artists along the way and recently he earned a deal with Lil Durk and his OTF label. This union, on paper at least, is certain to be a wonderful one two punch between Chicago’s drill king of melody and one of his most creative and vocally gifted grandchildren, stylistically speaking.

Slimelife Shawty has a new addition to his already long stretch of captivating music videos, this time for his new single “Hot Box” which is a melodically inclined cut where Slime calmly speaks his threats and gangster affirmations in a nonchalant and sedated manner beause he really lives what he raps and truly has nothing to lie about. He has earned co-signs from a host of other respected greats inside and outside of the industry outside of only Lil Durk at this point and I am certain that this adjusted label situation will be exactly what is necessary to launch Slimelife Shawty’s career into a different stratosphere.
