Digits – [Ron Grams]

“Digits” is the latest offering by DMV native Ron Grams, a track that talks about any and everything related to money, as you could assume with the title. Sometimes you just know you’re going to rock with a track in the first couple of seconds of the instrumental, which was definitely the case with this Oh Ross-produced track.

“I get a bag and go to the finish, and you n***** can’t f*ck with us”

Ron’s flow is masterful, packing punches with his deliveries and perfectly incorporating adlibs and lyric breaks to maximize the beat’s potential. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t find myself moving and bobbing to the track. Just over two minutes, the song’s length is overpowered by it’s energy, something you can feel, too, in the music video produced by Marleaux Desire. The visual is a dark, VHS-style depiction that accompanies the aggression and feel of the track well, it just felt like a perfect match of videographer to artist.

Ron plans on adding a full project to his discography by the end of the year, something he said will surprise his fanbase and new listeners alike. If it’s anything like “Digits,” the people won’t be disappointed.
