David Blazer is a 27 year old singer/songwriter/multi-instrumental talent. The rising artist is making it onto our paws today for the release of his brand new EP entitled “Candy Talk”. Over the past week, the project has been gaining some traction, which makes sense when you give it a listen and realize how impressive it is.
Upon pressing play, my first observation was that David sings like a seasoned veteran. His musical presence is likened to that of an old soul. After much research, I found out that David is actually the son of a prominent 70’s LA radio DJ who was heavily invested into the Motown scene. This passion for music clearly passed down to the next generation as David has decided to incorporate his roots into his sound.
The “Candy Talk EP” is a really cool project that highlights the up and comers skill set in a plethora of ways. In each song, Blazer gives room for each aspect of his talent repertoire to shine through. His vocals are truly a gift, while the instruments and production make for a great inclusion as well.
This project is a good one. I’ve attached the Spotify link down below. Give it a listen and let us know what you think!
