Big 14 – [Trippie Redd] ft. [Offset] & [Moneybagg Yo]

There is no hiding the fact that literally thousands of new artists try and make a name for themselves in the rap world every single day, and while a minuscule fraction of these people will actually gain some traction, the rest of them will most likely give up after releasing a couple of songs and not putting in the time. While this might be tough to cope with for some, the fact of the matter is it’s the name of the game, and if you’re not willing to put in the hard work and effort that it takes to eventually find some success in your craft, then it’s probably better off that you leave things as they are and find out something that might better suit you in the long run.

Regardless of if we’re talking about the current generation of musicians who have made an impact or the ones who cut their dreams short, I think one commonality amongst most of these people is the fact that they were more than likely influenced by Trippie Redd. Whether you like it or not, Trippie has been one of the most influential characters in music throughout the better part of the last decade, and as he continues to drop hits, his notoriety also grows exponentially. After dropping countless chart-topping classics and a plethora of historic projects, Trippie is back with a brand-new Honorable C.N.O.T.E.-produced song entitled “Big 14” featuring Offset and Moneybagg Yo which also comes fully furnished with a Nolan Riddle-directed music video.

When Trippie kicks things off with the hook, it seems as if this one is going to be pretty minimalistic despite the energy oozing from the instrumental, but you already know that we’re in for a treat by the time Offset comes in. During his verse, Offset changes up the pace, including tons of off-kilter, uncharacteristic flows that he has perfected at this point in his impressive tenure within his career. Moneybagg Yo changes the pace even more in the second verse, showcasing his trademark Memphis attitude as he recites some unique lines of his own.

The fun is yet to culminate, though, because Trippie finishes things off with a final verse that really extends his sound and stretches his vocals in a manner that is much more familiar to fans, leaving us with a powerful and lasting impression once again. Trippie Redd’s legacy is already heavily cemented in the rap history books, but that’s not going to stop him from continuously dropping bangers per usual, so make sure you tap in with his latest hit called “Big 14” sooner rather than later.
