By Tobbylola // 9 Aug 2022

DJs are extremely crucial to the music industry. Not only are they playing music for an audience, but a DJ is also primarily responsible for providing knowledge about music to his listeners. Whenever a new artist emerges on the scene, they automatically reach out to DJs in hopes of getting their record spun. They can let artists know which of their music their fans are engaging with and which they are not. A DJ has the power of transforming an event just based on their tracklist. They can bring the dynamics and liveliness to a musical event in ways no other medium can match. Dj Smiles from Iowa is a prime example of understanding the power of music. His talents have given him the opportunity to travel the world on tour with a few big-name artists. Having an ear for music turned into a career that has changed his life. With 189k views and counting on Youtube, the @reelhouselv shot video was quite a sight to see. Decked out in icy jewelry, TwoCeez’s vicious rhyme scheme left no crumbs on the table with the QuixkMadeIt produced track. He directed this song towards the falsified image of internet thugs and rappers who claim to be something they’re not. TwoCeez hopes to use his music to give his fans a message that they can relate to. “My music is about life’s struggles and triumphs. I love telling stories. My message is elevation. Always try to elevate yourself, don’t become a victim of your circumstances,” He emphasized. “I would see people banging on tables making beats and rapping which inspired me to write my first song. I used poetry and rhyming to help me through the prison experience.”   Throughout his career, Ceez has performed on several tours including Meek Mill’s Dreams Come True Tour in 2012 and Yo Gotti I AM Tour in 2013. He also had the opportunity to share the stage with hip-hop heavyweights such as Migos, Fabolous, Dom Kennedy, Pusha T, …
