Mansion – [$teven Cannon]

By Jacob Lusted // 8 Nov 2018

Lyrical Lemonade favorite $teven Cannon makes his way back to our platform today with a brand new visual for his latest track titled, Mansion. Released only a matter of hours ago, the Gren8Beats-produced hitter was brought to life courtesy of Nicholas Jandora which sees the L.A.-based rapper doing what else but pulling up to a massive house with a crowbar in hand. Immediately greeted with bodies as soon as he enters the room, the bass-ringing track comes to life with Cannon taking the role of a psychotic killer who can be seen gripping a chainsaw, reading a book and even enjoying a meal from a girl who proceeds to climb in the oven afterward. That’s really only the start of the antics and much like the previous visuals from Cannon, this one will pull you in right away. Make sure to let loose the video for Mansion and keep a lookout for the next release from $teven Cannon very soon. Directed by: Nicholas Jandora

Know Me – [NAV]

By Jacob Lusted // 8 Nov 2018

It’s certainly no secret that NAV is notorious for darker, almost-hallucinogenic visual experiences and to no one’s surprise, he delivers once again for his latest track in, Know Me. Pulling up in a red Ferrari in the opening clip, the David Camarena-directed cut sees the Toronto native entering a creepy, low-lit household filled with snakes, skulls and multiple baddies respectively. The Pro Logic & Austin Powerz-produced joint released a week ago made its rounds immediately after release and will more-than-likely catch a second wind after this video finds its way onto the screens of XO fans everywhere. Having said that, waste no time checking out the video for Know Me below and let us know if you’re feeling the latest cut from NAV. Nowhere2go – [Earl Sweatshirt]

By Jacob Lusted // 8 Nov 2018

It seems like a lifetime has passed since Earl Sweatshirt became on Odd Future standout with his earliest hits such as Chum, Orange Juice with Tyler, The Creator and even the shock value found in his 2011 visual for EARL. Now almost 3 years separated from the last time we heard from the Chicago-born emcee, he has returned with new music in the form of a smooth single entitled, Nowhere2go. Coming to our attention last month after a video surfaced from his performance at the ‘Camp Flog Gnaw’ music festival, the mind-bending visual assuring us of its release this week was greeted with a warm reception as rumors began to swirl of a forthcoming project before the year ends. Produced by Booliemane & Ade Hakim, Earl floated over the cloudy instrumental with his gripping lyricism expressing his feeling of being lost and ultimately coping with it in various ways. Just under 2 minutes in length, you can stream the latest from Earl at the links below and stay tuned for more details on a potential project in the near future.

By Jacob Lusted // 26 Oct 2018

No more than a week after Quavo dropped off his self-titled Quavo Huncho album,  Migos fans were ecstatic to hear the news that Takeoff was next up in-line for a project of his own. Entitled The Last Rocket set for release next week, we have been given our first look in the new song & visual for Last Memory that instantly sets the hype for the days to come. Tints – [Anderson .Paak] Ft. [Kendrick Lamar]

By Jacob Lusted // 5 Oct 2018

The ever-expanding TDE camp never ceases to impress with quality releases and when the duo of Anderson .Paak & Kendrick Lamar are found on the same track, there isn’t much need for an explanation. Coming together for the new single Tints, TDE frontman K-Dot looks as if he stepped in Anderson’s world right quick for arguably one of the most replayable R&B tracks we’ve heard this year. Produced by Om’Mas Keith, Matt Tavares & .Paak himself, both artists stunned in their spots with a smooth opening verse from Anderson before Kung Fu Kenny hopped on the scene with a sparkling verse of his own on his god status and demanded respect. Also expected to appear on the 32-year-olds next project dedicated to his hometown of Oxnard, California, you can expect more of TDE’s finest to pop-up all over the album and consequently, we’re more than okay with that. Make sure to give Tints a shot below and stay tuned for Anderson .Paak’s album in Oxnard coming soon to a streaming service near you!

On Schedule – [ILLYMINIACHI]

By Jacob Lusted // 5 Oct 2018

Immediately after announcing the forthcoming Optiks project set for October, 15th, Vancouver’s ILLYMINIACHI is back with a new joint to hold us over titled, On Schedule. Much like the song portrays, the Kultar Randhawa-produced track comes at the right time as ILLY impressed once again with wavy lyricism over the sonic production that takes you on a quick journey to the moon & back. Coming off the last offering in Ignita back in July, the stocks only continue to rise for the 23-year-old and once the Optiks tape hits the streets later this month, all bets are off for the inevitable ‘Miniachi takeover. Waste no time starting your weekend the right way with On Schedule and be sure to follow ILLYMINIACHI on all social platforms below: Instagram: @illyminiachi  Twitter: @illyminiachi  Soundcloud: @ILLYMINIACHI

Nasty – [Rich The Kid]

By Jacob Lusted // 5 Oct 2018

Rich The Kid makes his return to our pages today with a new song accompanied by a must-see visual entitled, Nasty. Coming off the nursing home takeover in his video for Leave Me, the Grizz Lee-directed cut sticks to the script with multiple bad women who can be seen dancing for Rich while he throws piles of money, chefs up on the barbecue and as mentioned, takes in his beautiful women dancing in the living room. Still reeling from the success of his debut effort The World Is Yours from March, the Rich Forever bossman continues to make noise this year and I think most can agree that 2018 was his biggest year to date. Having said that, let loose the song/ visual pack for Nasty below and don’t miss the video for Leave Me also linked for viewing here.  Via: WORLDSTARHIPHOP
