Mass Appeal recently got the chance to sit down with L.A.-based rap group Shoreline Mafia who, just days ago, signed a major deal with Atlantic Records. Consisting of four members named Master Kato, Fenix, Rob Vicious & Ohgeesy, the Shoreline come-up story is fairly unique to most after being featured in a FOX news segment who criticized the group for their drug use, which ended up being good publicity as attention grew on them immediately after. Clearly, that isn’t the sole reason for their emergence as their energy-packed hits (such as Musty from 2016) have turned up multiple spots throughout L.A. and beyond, only further proving their case as the next ones up out of the West Coast. That being said, find out more about the promising collective in their interview with Mass Appeal and let us know if you’re rocking with Shoreline Mafia in the comments below!
