In the tracks description, he writes “RIP JOHN WALT. LOVE YOU DUDE.”, sending condolences to his friend and fellow Chicago rapper John Walt, who was killed just last year. Underneath the pain-stricken songwriting, French’s production provides a cloudy backdrop to his elegy.
