The artist formerly known as Rich Chigga is going into 2018 with a new name and a new track. Rich Chigga took to Twitter earlier today to announce that he would now be going by Brian, his legal first name, and this was something he’d been planning to do for awhile. Accompanying this new chapter for Brian is “See Me,” a single off of his forthcoming debut album “Amen.” With a moody chord progression and heavy synths, Brian raps about the pace his life has been moving at recently, recounting his meteoric rise to success and prophesying what the future has in store. It’s a more introspective side to the young Indonesian artist that we don’t often get to hear, and it’s one I hope he explores more. With the 21 Savage-featured hit “Crisis” and “See Me” both out, Brian seems to be on to one of the most anticipated rap records of 2018. With “Amen” set to drop on February 2nd, get a taste of what to expect from
Rich Chigga Brian and stream “See Me” above.
Yes I now go by “Brian”. I have been planning to do this forever and I’m so happy to finally do it. I was naive & I made a mistake. new year, new beginning, happy new years™️
