You may have seen Andrew Harlan aka odd_but_true ‘s designs earlier this year for sold-out concert posters featuring headlining artist’s like Smokepurrp and Femdot. He has also designed logo’s for music podcasts such as 93 ‘Til and cover art for rappers like IsaiahG. Needless to say, the Illinois based visual artist has been very active in the Chicago music scene specializing in “stream of consciousness” styled art where eccentric animation, wavy lines, and bright colors run free in all his pieces. On August 18th however, odd.but.true and talented photographer, Kendall Hill, are ready to let the public step into their worlds which will feature new pieces, photos, and never before seen artistic directions from the talented duo! Their collaborative art show will be taking place at Congruent Space located at 1216 W Grand Ave in Chicago and will begin at 7pm. Be sure to follow the artists on their Instagram’s (@odd.but.true and @kdvll) for a sneak peek into their creative minds and be sure to meet us there for a one of a kind event you will not want to miss!
