Today I am happy to introduce you to Canadian rapper, Reeko Rieffe. Making his Lyrical Lemonade debut, we are premiering his new song and visual for, “Cruisin.” This track is all about how Reeko has some friends who have turned against him now because they are jealous of all the clout and money he’s getting now. The friends not only wish for his downfall, but they’re taking his old girls and trying to hurt him in any way possible. The video portrays Reeko’s old homies going on a cruise looking for him. They eventually do find him and kidnap him. You’ll see that once they take him to the spot, the kidnappers face turns out to be Reeko’s as well because it shows that everyone wants or has wanted to be in somebody else’s position or someone else’s life to some degree. So, can you really be mad a haters when at some point, you probably said you wanted to be in someone else’s shoes too? It’s like a, if I was you, I’d hate me too. Now Reeko doesn’t have much material out, but if you check out his Soundcloud here, you’ll see that he’s got serious talent and potential. He can just about do it all, and shows you he can in, “Cruisin.” He can get lyrical, catch a nasty flow, and sing really well too. Do not sleep on Reeko because this is not going to be the last you see of him, it’s only the beginning. Press play below and get in tune with one of Brampton, Canada’s finest.
